The DV Cartridge and Dock Companion is a hard drive based video recorder developed for law enforcement and security applications. The system is designed to be a drop in replacement for the discontinued Sony EVO 250 Hi-8 videotape recorder and has matching physical dimensions. The DV cartridge is a small, portable storage device that mounts on an on-site recording dock or a PC dock when downloading recorded video. Simply mount the DV Cartridge on the Record Dock to capture up to 20 hours of video and/or audio; when done, remove the DV cartridge and mount to the PC dock to download. The DV cartridge eliminates the need to connect and disconnect audio/video and powers connections each time video is recorded and downloaded. |
