Measuring only 50.8mm long x 25.4mm wide, the FireBird F-100 HDMI™ is ideal for those applications requiring a HDMI camera input to be transcoded into low bandwidth for transmission over the network.

Running Videosoft’s Edge Gateway software (see separate datasheet), the FireBird F-100 HDMI™ improves real-time situational awareness by providing multiple simultaneous streams to command centres and operatives in the field using efficient bandwidth management. Inside the FireBird F-100 HDMI™, Videosoft’s efficient and adaptive video compression techniques and real-time transmission protocols ensure reliable and low latency delivery of streams – even across ultra-low bitrate, unreliable or congested networks, including mobile and satellite.

Streams and data from the FireBird F-100 HDMI™ are viewed and managed remotely by Videosoft apps running on Windows, Android and IOS. Streams can be fed to industry-standard VMS solutions, using Onvif and RTSP, to be incorporated as part of a wider management platform.
